Group your contacts into custom segments

In Yuzap, you can sort and filter contacts with advanced filters and save the result as segments. Segments appear in the secondary sidebar.

How to create contact segments

1. Go to Contacts area (sidebar) and click Filter.

2. In the modal, choose:

   • Filter type: (e.g.: Country, City, Email, Custom attributes);

   • Operator: (Equal to, Not equal to, Contains, Does not contain);

   • Value: Add multiple filters as needed. Click Submit to apply.

3. With the list filtered, click Save filter in the header. Give a name to the segment and confirm by Save filter.

Common operators:

• Equal to / Not equal to — exact values;

• Contains / Does not contain — text snippets. Combine filters to create precise segments (e.g., Country = Brazil And Plan = Pro).

How view a saved segment

• In the secondary sidebar, locate Segments and click the segment name to open the contact group at any time.

How delete a segment

1. Open the saved segment.

2. In the header, select Delete filter and confirm the deletion.

Best practices

• Name clearly your segments (e.g.: BR_Customers_Pro, Active_Trial_30d).

• Prefer well-defined custom attributes for richer segmentations.

• Review segments periodically to keep curation up to date.
